research for Sound Project .2
For my final Sound Design project, I would like to make a video based on Requiem For A Dream's drug scene, where they make close-ups to all the drugs and the money, and there is a sound for every things that happens in the film.
Make a sound for every thing that happens in the video, insert a really influential sound in every little thing so the audience can engage with the sound as much as with the film. For example,
- The vibration of the phone when receiving a call.
- The sound of the lighter being activated.
- The difference of sound when using headphones and when not using headphones.
- The sound of the rain.
- The sound of any hand made action that include fingers.

The Wrong Trousers
Today I'm talking about Nick Park's short film The Wrong Trousers, about Wallace and Gromit. But this time, I'm going to be a little more specific in this article. I'm writing about The Wrong Trousers' narrative structure.
First, we need to know that the narrative is linear, this means that the acts happen in order. We can see that the first turning point is when Wallace gives Gromit the robotic trousers for his birthday, and this provokes almost everything that happens next in the story; the trousers are one of the most important elements of the film.
Now, the major turning is Feathers McGraw arriving to their home and lives. He is the one who uses the trousers for something evil and Gromit attempts to reach resolution, since he moved out by his jealousy and anger he gets to discover McGraw's evil plan. So he decides to start spying on him so he can catch him.
Personally, I think the climax is on the chasing scene, where Gromit and Wallace chase Feathers McGraw in the whole house and everything goes crazy. Finally, Gromit finally gets to capture the penguin and then, they take him to the Police, where is taken to the zoo.
The epilogue in the story is described in the story while ending: Gromit goes back to live in the house with Wallace to be his best partner; Wallace, with the money the received from the Police in reward for capturing McGraw, now has enough money to pay his taxes and debts; Feathers McGraw is now in jail [the zoo] for the rest of his life.
With this information, we can know more about how does the narrative works and understand better the details and making of the film.
